I am an Versatile Contemporary Artist, and I graduated from the University of Cincinnati. I attended their five year design program as well as being a member of UC's women's track team. Both experiences gave me the desire to pursue a career in painting.
Since graduation I have participated in many outdoor art festivals, fairs and art shows throughout Ohio. These events allow me to share my work with others.
I do most of my work in acyrlic. I love working with acrylic because I feel that there is more freedom to do exactly what I want. I paint what I dream. I feel a major part of being creative is having the ability as an artist to show what I imagine exactly the way I imagine it. So I use texture for expession and depth with as my muse.A theme seen through my collections. This is why my style, this is me .........versatile and unique.-Monique
I also create individual portraits for personal orders, which helps me to sharpen my skills and molds me to be a multi-talented artist. I don't want to just know how to do one thing, I want to know how to do it all, and well. So any task given me, it will be tackled.
